What time can I check in?
Check in time is 2:00 pm and Check out time is 11:00 am. Sorry, we do not accept early arrivals. Late departures will be charged a $10.00 fee. NO RV’s will be parked past 8 pm.
Can I use my GPS to get to the Campground?
GPS is very unreliable to get you to the campground and usually brings you up an old logging road. Use GPS to get close then our step by step directions from Waynesville or Sylva.
Can I bring my own firewood?
NO Firewood is allowed to be brought into the campground.
Are There Hiking Trails In The Campground?
All walking in the campground must be on designated roads and paths. DO NOT GO ON THE BANKS (There are rare wildflowers and plants).
Will my site be on the creek?
Yes your site will back right up to the creek, you will not be permitted to get in the creek at your site.
Can we go in the creek?
No one is allowed in the creek from their site. There are two areas you may enter: Across from the Bath House and by the Large Pond. Both have benches in the creek to enjoy.
Why can’t we go in the Creek from our site?
It erodes the bank, it causes turbidity in the water that kills our native trout and salamanders, and the rocks and banks are slippery.
Can I put a tent up on my RV Site?
No tents are allowed on RV sites and no stakes are allowed on RV sites. All sites are for one RV and one vehicle only.
Is there an extra charge for extra vehicles?
Yes extra vehicles are $5.00 per night and park in overflow parking.
Is there WiFi at the campground?
We boost the cellular signal in the campground so campers can access WiFi on their own device, I Phone, I Pad, etc.
Are Dogs permitted in the campground?
Pets are permitted on RV Sites and Tent sites. All pets must be on a leash, picked up after, and not left unattended. NO PETS in the Rental Cabins, NO PETS in the Small Camping Cabins, ONLY 1 PET allowed in the Large Camping Cabins. No Pitt Bulls.
